KUCCPS Announces Third & Final Revision of University Courses

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has opened the site for the third and final revision of University Courses for the 2021/2022  KCSE candidates.

KUCCPS invites KCSE candidates who did not receive any of their top choices on a competitive basis to modify their course selections during the third and final revision of course selections, which will take place from June 14, to June 17, 2022. 

KUCCPS advised applicants to log in to the student portal on the dashboard in order to verify the status of their placement.

Who Should Review Their Courses in this Revision Window? 

1. Applicants who were unsuccessful in obtaining a course after the first and second revision exercises.
2. Students who did not apply but sat for the KCSE in 2021/2022.
3. After taking into account the basic admission standards, any candidate who meets the placement cutoff points but does not match the requirements for their first choice course may be offered any course with open slots.

How Do You Know If You Have Not Secured A Course And Need to Revise/Apply?

Those who recently applied should log into the KUCCPS Students’ Portal to check the status of their applications.

The candidates' KCSE index numbers, which are required to be used to do a third revision of choices, have also been released here.

NOTE;

When you login into your portal, you will get a message informing you that you need to revise your course choices. If you provided valid phone numbers during the application, an SMS will also be sent to your contact requesting you to amend your course preferences.

How To Review Your Courses For The Third and Final Revision

1. To access the student portal, enter your username and password.
2. In the upper left corner, choose the Applications tab to see the prerequisites. You can also browse for courses by the institutions that offer them by selecting the Institution tab.
3. After selecting the programmes in the course basket, navigate through the list and add or modify them as needed.
4. On the website, go to the application/revisions tab and enter your desired courses' programme codes.
5. The programme codes can be obtained from the courses you select from the list.
6. When you're done, submit the courses you've chosen.
