President William Ruto on Wednesday, July 24, nominated the second half of his proposed Cabinet, which is now awaiting vetting and approval from the National Assembly.
The second half of the Cabinet will see the return of 4 previous members of the Cabinet - Murkomen, Alfred Mutua, Justin Muturi, and Salim Mvurya.
The President also made good his promise to form a government of national unity, including members of the opposition party - ODM in the new proposed Cabinet.
Among ODM politicians who have been nominated include - ODM Chairman John Mbadi, ODM deputy party leaders Hassan Joho and Wycliffe Oparanya, and Leader of the Minority in the National Assembly Opiyo Wandayi.
The new announcement follows an initial list released on Friday July 19 2024, where he named 11 new Cabinet Secretaries nominees. The initial announcement saw 6 out of 11 CSs return to the cabinet.
